In the debate over the jirga vs. state courts, some numbers were thrown around without providing evidence to their veracity. Although I'm sure there are more detailed numbers about outstanding cases in front of the court system across Pakistan, this piece from 2013 explains how 200,000 cases were pending in the Sindh alone. Some argue that justice delayed is justice denied, so how can we interpret this?
