Democracy and Pakistan

I think the most important thing  is that which mode of governance a state chooses. It depends on the political leadership of the state. The policies made by all the governments should be long-term and are for the mere interests of the state. These policies are different for different states depending on their structural dynamics. Capitalism may serve best for US but it does not necessarily means that its ultimate medium to develop for every state.
Our enigma in Pakistan is that our pathway is not distinctively defined. Every new government has its own notion and form of democracy to experiment. And this notion  conforms more to accomplishment of their personal motives instead of state.

I completely agree with how America has become the benchmark for comparison. America has had a long history and they have had their share of experimentation. Their political system has matured. It is not adequate and even quite right to compare relatively newer countries in this context.

I agree with how different kinds of governance are needed in different countries, and exact same plan being implemented by any country cannot be used in another. We as a state need to see and put forward the well-being of our people and come up with policies which are best for Pakistanis.

Yeah I would like to agree with Arslan's point. Policies should be long lasting and whatsoever the governmental system should be, the upcoming government shouldn't stop the policies from completing.
