Session 22: Wars and Nations.

There are many factors which ultimately lead to war and anarchy. Wars are used as an instrument to show case power and dominance of influence over other nations. When bourgeoisie exploit middle classes by depriving them of essential necessities and keeping them in false consciousness, this can also lead to anarchy and state of war between the upper class and proletariat.Wars can be coercive and offensive to acquire resources and other national interests linked with the invaded nation. Our history is frequently loaded with such examples of offensive wars. Another cause for the emergence of wars is the presence of conflicting interests and disputed territories between the two opponents. The biggest example of this the three wars fought between India and Pakistan. Kashmir dispute has been  the most controversial issue existing between the rivals. It can also serve an example of conflicting interests providing basis to wage wars. Although wars are considered disastrous to peace and harmony, however, they are necessary to maintain power and influence for leading nations and they give birth to leviathans and hard power.

i agree with your point that wars are used as tool to gain or break power and create supremacy over others but the difference in ideologies, beliefs, ethnicity and culture can lead to war as well.
