Pakistanis are usually considered as one of the most
patriotic people around the world. In today’s modern day, it is clearly evident
that fear and loathing of India binds all the Pakistanis regardless of their
ethnic and religious differences very strongly. Here, a question arises that will
Pakistanis only stand together as a nation when there is India VS Pakistan
match or when Indian army attacks our borders or when India accuses Pakistanis
as terrorists’?
We as being Pakistani are facing so many religious and
ethnic divisions that are eventually threatening our country’s integrity. The
religious differences have established such a string holding in our society
that every other day we hear news of killings of Shias by Sunnis or killings of
Christians’, Hindus and all other minorities by Muslims. Most importantly, the
Taliban’s who are killing everyone, regardless of their religion in the name of
Islam.
Each province is fighting its own battle and is not ready to
stand up together as a nation. It is chiefly due to that fact that Pakistan
leaders and politicians has in a way failed to increase the representation of
other provinces instead of Punjab only. Punjabis are mostly considered as the
one whose ruling the country. It is
imperative that all the provinces are given an equal share in representation in
decision making, allocation of funds for development etc.

Pakistan's differences with India are strategic and not ideological. Just saying!
It is evident that Pakistan needs unity. In my opinion, unifying against India when there is a cricket match or a dispute is not true unity nor does it link with patriotism. I agree with your statement that Punjab is clearly given more importance than the other provinces. That being said, it is time for change. Coming together just to bash other religions or when there is a match against India is simply ridiculous. Pakistan needs a truly united system.
