Throughout the session, we came to know many new things, discovered various facts and learnt different ideologies. What is political science, what is politics, the difference between government and state, jirga's and judiciaries, social contracts and many more. We discussed about different policies, strategies and agendas. United States became our point of attention at times, examples started from hitler and ended on tahir-ul-qadri. Yes this was fun learning. We had a trip to wagha border, which was really special. The best part of it was the anti-smoking campaign. I hope which accomplishes, one day.
Our corrupt system was criticised many times and ways to reform it, were searched. Each and every member, participated in the class discussion, and a healthy environment remained throughout the semester. The questions raised were encouraged and they were answered in a humorous manner. Groups, presentations and skits took place, which was a different experience, especially the trip to the fields.
The TA's were quite humble throughout the session and their interaction with the class was friendly. Yes, there were questions and debates, on which everyone did not agree, but the way in which they were dealt, was extra-ordniary. Polling through secret votes was a special thing, introduced in any class. This showed that, even the slightest or biggest issues can be resolved through people's vote. Posting blogs was one of the ways of expressing one's ideas and viewpoints. Healthy discussion and debate was encouraged and appreciated.
Lunch, after class meetings, different chats on campus, were great. This really helped in learning. Other classes focused on quizzes and mids, but this class remained focus on its mission. Yes, these were only 26-27 sessions, but the time spent was worth spending. For sure, we won't find a match to this class. A tough subject was taught in an easy way.
The credit for all this accomplishment, this fun, this learning and this time goes to none other than Sir Nausherwaan. It would not be wrong to say that, instructors like him are rare. The way he taught was exceptional. Smiling on every single argument and answering with facts, was one of the many things that inspired the most. Yes, his urdu is a little weak but still that looks cool. The celebration of his birthday, summed up the class. There are many other things, which could have been mentioned, but in a nutshell, the experience was marvellous. The instructor gave his shot and the class responded in the best possible way. On behalf of everyone, I would like to say thanks sir and best of luck for your future.
