Our text book before throwing light on religious conflicts states that no religion has inherent conflicts in fact there are many places that communities of different faith coexist harmoniously.Although it is true that it holds potential for conflicts.Since religion holds absolute truths as its core values it creates problems .Wait? Am I missing something?
What does it mean? That religions inherently do not hold any conflicts it is just they have the potential for creating and making more out of differences. I mean may be the author is using a little diplomatic language but isn't the religion inherited the same as the religion later adapted and continue to stay the same?. What i infer from this statement is that when religion in its pure form that is in its early times of inception it does not hold that potential for conflicts but with times the preachers, the mullahs, the priests, Cohen(Jewish priest) exploit the differences in such a manner that calls for domination over the other .
Truth is there has been record of at least Islamic mullahs especially in the Frontier region; who are known to twist the facts ,presenting half of the sides of the history ;which are true but lacking a complete picture hence brainwashing people for Jehad sometimes justly otherwise against their own country armed forces. This needs to stop otherwise the younger generation who are more aware and educated about the religious conflicts will simply ignore the religion because of its preachers.
