Religious Conflicts

Different countries are facing different types of crisis, and there are certain reasons behind it. Countries have various conflicts between each other, that results in clashes between them. One of the severe issues is religion. Different states have different state religions. The people of that state, blindly follow that religion and cannot listen a word against that religion.

America is a christian state, and most of its people follow christianity. These people do not like any other religion and unfortunately, suppress others. On the contrary, Afghanistan is a muslim country, and the people living there, hate all other religions than Islam. Due to this difference and hatred, certain conflicts arise between the countries. This act leads to wars and battles.

Most of the writers and columnists think and write, that the unrest in middle east is just because of america. America is considered to be an anti-muslim country, and every act against Islam is related to it. On the other end, european countries, and certain other states, claim muslim countries to be terrorist breeders. Instead of looking at other stats and facts, religion is considered to be the representative of countries, and different policies and strategies are based on it.

India and Pakistan are neighbours but still they are bitter rivals. One of the reason behind their clash is religion. Different movements in India, claim Pakistan to be the house of Islam, and in their perspective anything related to islam is bad. On the other hand, some muslim movements and parties in Pakistan, give hatred speeches against india and indians.

Religion should not be the reason of war or any type of clash, because religion has nothing to do with the functions of the state. Unfortunately this baseless reason has become one of the crucial factors. This thing should stop as soon as possible because a religion finishes or not, people will finish.

Despite the fact that religion is a very important factor in different political phenomenon and policies, it is not not as rigidly engraved within people and states as you make it out to be.

For example, America is a secular state and holds people of different religions within its boundaries. Despite numerous incidents of Islamophobia, to say that everyone suppresses other religions would be sliding towards making bold unsubstantiated claims.

I respect your opinion but as far as i know, state itself does not have any religion, its just the masses of the state that follow a particular religion which then becomes the so called religion of the state. Secondly as far as the rivalry between Pakistan and India is concerned, its more on territorial conflicts rather than on religious conflicts, clear example can be seen from the fact that there are around 20 million Muslims living in India right now.
