Session 12 - Political parties

Being raised in a country, where the term politics is substitute-able with the political parties, I have always been a witness of how and why people support different political parties and how the competition between these political parties is used to elect the most popular political party.
In simple words a political party is an organization which allows like-minded people to work together to promote certain ideas and achieve certain goals. We can deduce from this that political parties can be used as a tool to aid democracy in a country.  Political parties are the mechanism by which people from different origins (of that country) can actively participate in reshaping/improving policies and coming up with the governance system of the society. We know that no political party can be perfect because each party serve to their own ideology however they are essential for the effective functioning of our democracy. Without the support of political parties it would be difficult for individual Members of Parliament to organize themselves effectively for promoting the national interest.
