This independence is necessary because it provides freedom to the citizens. The countries where judiciary is not independent the citizens, justice is not provided to the citizens so there lacks satisfaction among people and they mostly protest against those governments.
In countries like America and Canada the judiciary is independent and its an example of freedom of judiciary. They guarantee freedom and crime rate there is very less as compare to other countries its all because these countries provide justice everyone gets his/her rights.
In Pakistan the judiciary is very strong but still there is need to enforce laws properly and to make the judges unbiased because to some extent there is influence of politicians, army and some other departments on judiciary. As we see that in Past Bhutto was hanged just because of influence of army so there is need to make our judiciary unbiased.

I agree with your post and i do so believe that the army has too much implicit influence in our political system to let any part of the system work independently. The simple fact is that justice cannot be biased. Army's influence over the judiciary makes it tough for justice to work independently and to provide the people with fair judgement.
The Jirga system also acts a symbol of the ineffectiveness of the judiciary. It depicts the flaws in out system.
I agree with the point that judiciary should be free of any external influence be it government or military, I would like to add that free judiciary is not the only thing needed but a biased judiciary which solely works for implementing just laws in the country instad of protecting any particular party's work.

I feel like it is this independance that allows the biases to even exist, especiallly when it comes to Pakistan. According to what I believe, the judiciary system of Pakistan is so weak that it allows justice to only the rich, because of lack of professionalism.
Hence, instead of having an independent judiciary which has already proven to be unjust, we need a judiciary that is controlled by an external force to keep a rigorous check on its actions.
I agree that the judiciary should work on being one that provides justice to all regardless of their class, background etc.
Also in Pakistan, the judiciciary is widely known for its participation in politics whereas in theory it should remain as an impartial bystander.
However what needs to be brought more into focus is that many people are not aware of the laws in Pakistan and most can not afford an influential lawyer. The judicial branch of the country must work on creating awareness in the country with regards to the law.
