Make up post : Criticism of Demoacracy.

  There have always been critics in every democratic environment, arguing over the proficiency, ingenuity and propensity of democracy. Most of the criticism claims democracy to be economically inefficient, politically idealistic and morally corrupt. There are flaws in the system of democracy, although still par satisfactory as a system of government. But as a result of these flaws, the system has faced much criticism over the years.

The major issue faced in this system of governance is that of the irrational voter. Voters are only knowledgeable of the few issues that concern them and are mostly aloof of certain major political and economic issues. An ordinary voter may also be lured into casting a vote on the basis of financial help or some other petty promises. 
The system of democracy is also questionable in a country with great wealth disparity. As it means that only the rich elites get to constitute the government.
