Judicial System Of Pakistan

Judiciary is one of the biggest unit of any state and the law and order situation of the country is situated to it. People respect the Judicial System of the country and abide by the decisions taken by the judges. Like other countries in Pakistan, Judiciary is consider to be the base of the state but unfortunately this base has been shaken, especially from the last two decades.
In Pakistan, Military coup have taken place two to three times in the history, which has affected badly the judicial system. The Dictators haven't respected the judges and forcefully have made them do things which shouldn't be done. Moreover Politicians have played their part in destroying this system. Their intervention in the Judicial system has weaken its roots and people have started losing their interest in it. Judges should be given freedom and protection so that they could feel free to make brave decisions.

I agree that the interference of politicians and frequent military coups have weakened the judiciary. However, as the reading also suggests, the appointment of the judges and their own political affiliations also have a great bearing on the now-politicized nature of the judiciary.
