Session 4 ; "A Nation State'

State is an organization of one ideology in which people who belong to this organization lead a life by following a Laws, Mores and norms. They all  accept general ideology of state and make special group of people that we call nation and these people also abide to "social contract".
We see different national states have one perfect ideology that unites their whole people and build a system, society and Laws on  ideology of state for example; China has basic ideology of Communism and Pakistan has ideology of Islamic state. Any contradiction among people of state results in devastating effects and they can cause Anarchy in State as we see in Pakistan.

I disagree that all states have their own perfect ideologies. There are diverse groups in the communities with different views, thus, propagating and promoting their own ideologies. This is one of the reasons why conflict prevails in countries such as Pakistan. We have radical Muslims and Liberal Muslims. In Zia's regime, the hudood law and the islamization process received severe criticism from one end while support from another. This issue wouldn't have risen if we all were united based on similar ideologies.

I agree with Fatima and think that it is too easy to simplify a state's ideology to a specific to one specific typology.
