Religious conflicts and the reason behind them !!

The core values of all religions are coherent. mostly the conflicts are man made. During the early era of Islam, in Madina , we have seen that although the entire community were not of same religion but still they were living a peaceful life. No religion has inherent conflicts but all are adapted. the conflicts arises as religion lost its potential.I think religion is the base of conflicts, i didn't mean that they cause conflicts but they are meant to the division of people. When people divide themselves under different religions the conflicts arise among them. Religions don't teach us to fight but unfortunately they have been the reason for different wars that happened in early Islam era or later.
Talking about prevailing condition in the world, Islam is known as the religion of terrorism, not because it is, but because it is preached in wrong manner by so called religious scholars and mullahs. The crusades are also the example of religious conflicts. Religions were meant for peace but they have caused conflicts and they reason is that people lack tolerance and education.
The key point to diminish these conflicts is to educate the people and aware them of tolerance and empathy. Firstly we are human, born with equal rights and freedom. Religion should not be the base of conflicts.

  1. I agree with your statement that religion itself is not conflict orientated. However, you put along the solution, to stop religious conflicts, as education. I would like to know what kind of education, worldly or more religious studies or maybe a different approach to religious studies. Knowledge, if infused with the preaching of hatred and intolerance can aggravate the situation.
